And if it waaaaas by some chance a random brake failure.. my next question is "why didn't you go around?"
 
I don't know...is 128 feet enough to land, realize the brakes don't work, and take off again?

This wasn't an emergency landing or anything, was it? Because 128 feet of extra room is pretty sketchy, in my book.
 
I think these two guys should get together with the pair that flew into the white house airspace and have a beer. Oh the stories.....
 
on the cbs interview the pilot said there was an equipment failure. yeah, the equipment that failed was the pilot.

maybe the 20 yr old danish girls were in the way of the brakes at the time.
 
Yep I think I'll make a pass in the whale see if I can't make it in there! Sounds to me like this one required a spot landing to say the least. He probably floated and then his ego would'nt let him go around. What a loser!
