Anybody know how much a single pilot Bravo PIC should make in the Southeast in this depressing day and age?

I don't know, but they would have to pay me at least 100k if it included managing all aspects of the department. Maybe 80k if I was simply a line pilot. I was making about 70k as a f/o on the CE-550 about 6 years ago (Pt91). What a depressing state this industry is in.:(

I am single pilot rated in the 550 SII and $85-110K is right on depending on locale and duties such as management or just flying. Just remember most guys who fly operators who fly single pilot are cheap F!!ks and most are pieces of crap. There are a couple in the midwest area who are impossible to work for rich guys with know it all attitudes because they have 150 tt. One in particular is in Dayton Ohio. If you should ever see his ad- run like hell or take him for everything. He is a scumbag person period.

Boiler up,

Sounds like you are possibly underpaid...or you just don't know what you're talking about.

NBAA 2008
Jet II (MTOW 10,000-20,000)
Chief Pilot Average
109,982.00

In my opinion Pro-Pilot salaries are not even close to respectable.

Sorry Boiler up...I see you were referring to co-pilot salaries.

That figure is not the Jet II Chief Pilot "average base salary" from 2008 (page 48)...its the Jet II Chief Pilot "salary range maximum" from 2007 (page 54).

$93,178 was the average base salary from the 2008 NBAA compensation survey.

If you or anybody else makes in the ballpark of $110k to be chief pilot of a light jet then that's awesome...but just like when I was referring to copilot compensation, its well above the average.

The figure I listed above is the average of the maximum salaries. Why not aim high?
