Cirrus with smoke in the cockpit?

Flying out to the east coast today I heard what sounded like an emergency with a Cirrus that had smoke in the cockpit. He was communicating with someone on guard, and was trying to land. Did anyone else hear this? Does anyone have any details or know the outcome? I hope the guy is okay. He sounded pretty nervous on the radio.
