Ha Ha Ha:laugh:

It always cracks me up how people and the media romanticize the CIA and other macho crap (Navy Seals, etc.....). It is hilarious if you bring one of these organizations name up at a dinner party and watch all the macho men come out and explain how the training goes, how to get selected and all the way down to details of the job. These same guys probably can't even change a sprinkler head or dribble a basketball, let alone where do they come up with all this BS information. Where do they come up with this garbage?? Sorry no offense, it's just plain funny!!

Whether or not I know anything about possible CIA aviation, accession requirements, stationing or types of aircraft, if any, is not the point.

The point is, that in a time of war, it is inappropriate or an OPSEC violation, depending on your status, to discuss the methods and practices of an agency that performs your nations covert or clandestine operations.

I didn't say you, I was making fun of the brave men on this board who know all the facts. You know, guys who would fight grizzly bears with their own hands. No, I mean guys who have fought grizzly bears with their own hands while engaged in combat over Iraq!

If they are they, then their probably the stated above, Grizzly Bear fighters over Iraq!!

Look, all of you are way off. I know because I've dribbled a football before and I changed a light bulb in the cockpit earlier this afternoon...

OPSEC? You are way off, and seem to be one of these guys who likes to play "I have a secret". It is not "News" that the CIA uses contractors. Nobody said anything about Aircraft, locations, or practices.

CIA contract overflights of the EU has been the hot news item for some time now.

Don't be so arrogant to think that you are the only one on this board who is in the know.

I never professed to have any specfic knowledge about the CIA's or anyone else's classified activities. But if you do and you divulge them you should be referred to your information manager.

As a military officer you should also know that if you hold classified material and you see it published, you are still required to remain silent about it and cannot divulge it simply because you think it has been compromised.

What a punk! You're the dude playing "I have a secret", Petie. All the other guy was saying is STFU.

It's doubtful an Army helicopter pilot knows anything about what the CIA is doing with their jets anyway. Poser.

The reality is that if you have to be asking questions about which companies are contracted by various government agencies then you probably do not have the background they are seeking.

The PMC community is rather small and then to split that into companies that have flying op's is even smaller. To get on at one of these places you really need to have some connections in that industry. And anyway why would you want to fly for one of these outfits when there are numerous other good corporate gigs around that QOL and pay are much better.

If you are solely looking for the supposed `excitement' buzz or the `prestige' (when you cant tell anyone what you do) I think you will be sorely dissapointed. If you want to be at the pointy end then enlist or apply to the agency. Contract flying is unlikely to get you there with your background.

Whichever way you go Good luck.
