just looking for some info on which regional would be best to fly for out of Chicago...not looking for a flame, but some good info from guys who fly for these regionals out of ORD. i know skywest doesn't pay during training...that sucks! also, what is the probability of getting ORD if i tried to get on with CHQ. thanks!

yeah...gojets...no thanks. you have any idea what upgrade would be at skywest and are they hiring into the ORD base?

ORD is the most junior base for RJ pilots at SKYW, and the base with the most scheduled growth in the next 18 months. The Transfer/Transition/Upgrade Bid awarded just a few hours ago for the next few months has a huge number of ORD RJ Captain awards, a couple going 14 months from date of hire.

Newhires that want ORD and are put in the jet will have no problem going there, and many that get hired wanting to fly in the "West" part of "SkyWest" may get sent there instead.

Past performance is no indication of future returns...
