A little bird told me that since the CHQ group jumped through someone's hoop (exactly who's we can only speculate) with the new and improved j4j vote (yeah, but we didn't swallow), U-ALPA has refused to staff Republic. Furthermore, U has told the honcho's at Republic Airways Holdings that they have until May 10 to gather their excrement with regard to the labor issues at RAH (translated:CHQ) or else TSA will get all the new jets and RAH will be left holding a second hand condom.
The above shameless rumor is substantiated to a degree by the FACT (not rumor) that RAH has asked to accelerate the CHQ contract negotiations.
Then, of course, there is the other rumor that certain highly placed individuals representing both RAH and Republic Airlines have been traveling frequently (compliments of UAL) between IND and ORD.
What fun!
