The money is in consulting man. He was in retirement and enjoying it. He is fully retired now but the consulting job took about five to seven days a month. I think in reitirement I could swing five to seven days out of my golfing routine. All he would do is give his thoughts on new products from the aviation world. No explaination on how to make a product viable, just had to say if he liked it or not. I called him the Pepsi challange guy of the aviation world.

I never said anything about not enjoying retirement. I'm shooting to be retired by 55. You just never know the opportunities that are out there unless you look. I find things in my other career constantly. I wish I could give up my love of flying so that I could focus more time on other things.

You said to Jason, "You are right. I should leave all the embarassing ranting to you... That is what you are known for..."

Don't be silly! The press isn't even here. He only rants embarassingly if the press is nearby to fuel his ego.

I'am not sure what's going on... I was in the 6/30 class date and told we were getting furloughed after sim.

Checkride is Monday and they have said nothing else besides you have a few months off... We'll see what happens on Tuesday

Any News?

I know better than to parlay and parry with fools and trolls, but...

Again, to whom are you referring when you say, "Jason" there, "Otto_Pilot"? (Boy, that's an original nickname.) Since you think you know who I am, why not put your money where your giant mouth is? I will gladly publically disclose my life story if you are willing to disclose yours. What do you fear?

You speak of an egocentric nature... Pot, meet kettle.

Looks like it's time to put you into the Global Ignore list.

*PLONK*

Then again, maybe I'll wait to see what other witty posts you manage. It's entertaining to see you walking around with a hard on for me (and/or Jason).

Too bad you're just another nameless jerkoff with too much free time on your hands, otherwise, what you say might actually matter to someone.

Also, if you're going to keep following me around the boards like this, shouldn't you consider counseling or founding of a fan club? I think you might be obsessed.

God's Blessings be with you, sir--I think you surely need them.

:)

KingAirer: Thanks for the updated info. I have nothing to add but will get back to you when I know something.

real airline pilot

hey I read someplace the average airline pilot is laid off approx 2.3 times in his/her career. Can't be a real pilot without the laid off. I bring the average up a bit with 5, that includes actural layoffs and the prospect of the sinking ship where I bailed before the ship sunk. Welcome to the world of carer flying. You do not need a college degree to be abused like this.
