did he seriously let the CA back into the cockpit?

F/O = fired, for opening door after level 4
CA = fired, for giving password to PAX

Ding, ding, DING -- WE FINALLY have a winner!

I am shocked that no one else got the threat level correct and the consequences that could ensue....:erm:

Were some of you "pilots" asleep during recurrent? Jesus...I hope I never fly on one of your flights if this is how clueless you are..

F/A = fired, for not telling the F/O not to do it.

Once the TSA gets hold of this, it'll be a bloodbath. It could extend to the CHQ training department for not emphasizing security in recurrent.

I was going to say that about the FA, but since the FA union is stronger at rjet than the teamsters, she will get he job back anyway. lol

it seems to me like the level video they showed at Chautauqua contained examples from an expressjet sim or something detailing the levels.

everyone knows you can't comeback from a 4...if you didn't think that review your GOM/FOM for details.

and yes, we were all sleeping...but you should be able to learn that stuff while you are asleep.

The FO should have just declared an emergency and landed, not let the CA back in. You don't know what they might be trying. Better safe than sorry I would think.

Just think of the a$$ he could have gotten for saving the lives of all onboard!!

I'm just trying to figure out what the CA was trying to accomplish by giving a passenger the password. How would that help you get out of the bathroom?

Probably thought that would prove to the FO it was "legit." However, how is the FO to know if CA willingly offered the password or was forced to?

Exactly, ZJ. That's why you can't retreat from Level 3 or 4.
