Saw that one happen today in ATL. Very smokey (white) landing, fire broke out on right main, tire shredded, and they pulled off on the high speed. The fire seemed out for a few seconds, then it flared up again with black smoke. By the time they got about 15 people onto the taxiway from evacuating, ARFF showed up and sprayed the foam. I am not sure how "hard" the landing was because I didn't see it until after touchdown. Pretty interesting to watch. I hope those that were injured recover quickly. By the way, I didn't see any engine fire, but I guess that doesn't mean there wasn't one.

Recapped and leased cheap tires will do it..

Now don't yuall go a bashin them southern boys..... they is just a little cornfused. They done learnt how to land on the roof of airport boats. they was a trying to get that there "three wire" and they plum forgot they was on land.

Them Delta "double-breasted-tail hookin-ring knockers" do sometimes get a mite uppity....they was all raised up at the big house on the plantation, sippin julips and such. My kin comes from the sharecroppin side of the fence.

Red Neck White Trash an proud of it......

That I'd bring this back to the top. I love how In Your Six and GL just ignore the negative about Deltoid but are obsessed with any and all things Southwest. Also find it odd that not a single post from either of these tiny boys for a week after this happened, yet within 30 minutes they're both back spitting out their worthless drivel. Obviously without a doubt the GL and IYS are the same person.

Things are a lot different when you're a high schooler, working in the "virtual" airline world!

Hopefully, he'll get a girlfriend soon, and forget about trolling real airline boards, but, I doubt it......
