What are your thoughts on pay for a Cheyenne II pilot in Florida with management duties? Single pilot on call 24/7/365, with aircraft on a 135 certificate?

I would say 55k for part 91 only, 24/7. Typically, 135 operators pay less, so probably 48k or so. It doesn't have to be that way, it's just when the owners are trying to make money with the airplane, the salaries seem to take a hit. If you're going to be the scheduler/dispatcher/travel coordinator, that's like a whole other full time job in itself. I wouldn't do it for less than 55k. Factor in a couple weeks of paying a contract pilot to fill in for you. You've got to have some time off, unless you can only take off during the 100/200 hr inspections. As a manager though, you'd probably be expected to be involved with those too.

Thats good. . . One of my bosses thinks I am overpaid. . . I didn't think so!

Thanks!
Anyone else?
