Cherrys keep falling off the tree

Cherry Air sure does seem to be losing a lot of pilots these days. Is it that bad over there?

An apostrophe denotes possession. Also, the plural of cherry is cherries.

And, Peter, you aren't turning in your TPS reports on the correct form.

where are they?

Have not seen many CA DA-20's at YIP lately what is going on?

Thankyou labbats...or is it thank you? You sound like my 7th grade english teacher. I believe though since Cherry used as a proper name, as in this case it would be Cherrys...correct?

Cherry's

To answer the question "are things really that bad?".... No... it's just that there are a lot of guys there that have put there time in and are movin on to bigger and or better... Cherry can be a good stepping stone...

I'm just glad that the job market is starting to open up and there can be movement in this what has been such a stagnent environment the last few years.

Are you kidding?

I understand that Cherry used to be a great place to build time but as of the last year or so, the maintenence has gone south and the management has become increasingly difficult to work with.

LearDriver, what airport is that under the wing of the plane in your Avatar?

No way, it's Craig Field in Jacksonville Florida... I'm guessing.

yes i do think your right it is cherrys
lampost, you are right, since Cherry is a formal name, it would be "Cherry's" if you were talking about something Cherry owned, like the aircraft. But he's using it in a sentence to be cute, therefore, it should be "Cherries falling off the tree", not "Cherrys falling off the tree". And "your" denotes mine. You're trying to say "you're". "You're right".

CRG wasn't that close to the ocean last time I checked...but that one field north of there was a little closer...so was St. Augustine. And I don't think CRG had the three runway WWII military configuration like that.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 100% that it's Nassau... The runway config is right, there is a lake on the east side of the airport, and it's that close to the water. The water up by St. Augustine isn't thaaaat blue.

I'm going to concede that you are right. The best comparitive pic I found so far was http://www.colinbeveridge.com/photos/a-nassau-departure.jpg and it looks like you're right.

Cherry is 135 freight, so how do you think it is, i'm looking to get out and there are already 3-4 guys that have/will break their FO contract. It's good to get some quality jet time and then get the hell out. but yes, the maintenance is bad and upper mgmt is worse.
