waka waka waka,

American fighter pilots are the best. All other counties' Air Forces are incompetent compared to ours. Anything associated with the USA, we're the best, no matter what. We make the best and most reliable cars, best cameras, we drywall better than anyone, have the best elevators, best beef, best healthcare, best train system, best system of government, best (and most) prisons, best copies of Swiss watches, best chocolate, best mass market swill pisswater beer, best (and biggest) beer guts, etc. etc. etc. Heck, there is no better smelling fart than the smell of an American fart.

Learn it, live it, love it.

You got that right, Che! I can't wait for the remake of Red Dawn to come out when the CHICOMS invade the Us of A!, WOLVERINES!!!! USA! USA! USA!

We’re from North California and South Alabam'
And little towns all around this land
And we can skin a buck; we can run a trot-line
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive!

I believe Pagan was being sarcastic.

and, Red Dawn was one stupid movie.

There's no reason to take it back. He made a summary comment about Chinese fighter pilots without giving a reason. I asked him to explain further. What's the problem? If Scrapdog is a fighter pilot, I am sure he can handle some mild snarkiness and eye rolling....especially if he can dish it out.

My request, eye rolling and all, stands.

Yes, I am a fighter pilot.

No, I won't expand any further.

Scrapdog.....do yourself and us all a favor and pick a new avatar.....plz. F-15 jokes are starting to come to mind.

How's that?

Scrapdog may not know much about Naval Aviation and the effective projection of power around the globe through our CBG capabilities, but I bet he does have a good sense of ChiCom air offense and defense capabilities.

True statement.

Since when did the guard get F22's? Or are you refering to the homework remark? I will agree that the Chinese have a long way to go before they are a real threat.

When I was active, we were terrified of the Mig 25 (Foxbat), until a Soviet pilot defected to Japan. Noting spot welds on structural cracks and vacuum tube avionics, we realized they were not nearly as capable as we gave them credit for.

That's not to say we should overlook the threat. The Chi Comms have purchased 30 subs (granted older boats) in the last 10 years while we have built one. They are about to send their first carrier on sea trials. This ain't defensive in nature, just as the Soviets claimed when they had a 3:1 ratio of troops, artillery, tanks, and jets on the East/West German border in the 1980s.

Thank God Reagan "wasted" (as our left leaning friends claim) so much money on defense. That and a few skirmishes between Isreal and Syria with top of the line equipment both sides were equiped with, showing the Soviets their superior numbers weren't enough.

The Chinese can afford to lose a lot more than the Soviets could though. If they ever get into building a huge merchant marine fleet, then we need to really pay more attention.

Guard has flown them for close to 4 years now...the Reserves have flown them close to 3 I believe.

I wasn't referring to the homework remark...

Was unaware Scrapdog. Thanks. All the things I miss out on since becoming engulfed in the civilian world. Oh how I miss those days.

Maybe this F-20 is planned to carry those carrier killer cruise missiles.

What the Navy needs is malware to intercept the lock on of these missiles so as to turn them 180 degrees for a new lock on to the sender. haha

What's there to know about Naval Aviation? Not much....
