Some guy called in and was practically frothing at the mouth about the "real story" behind September 11th. It seems that the CIA instructed NORAD to stand down for the duration of the "attack." The 767's and 757's were being flown by Special Ops guys via remote control, and after the attack the CIA seized all the pertinent ATC radar and voice tapes. Condaleeza Rice personally contacted numerous politicians and suggested that they not fly to New York that morning.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that!

It's laughable that people think like that, yet sad that they believe that the guvmint would actually be responsible for the 9/11 attacks. What is truly sad is the loss of 3000 lives that terrible day.

Oh, I almost forgot the punch line:

Why, you ask, would the CIA and the White House conspire to carry out the September 11th attacks? Why, to give George W. Bush absolute control over "all the stupid people" that call themselves Americans. "It's just like 1984, and nobody sees it," the caller railed.

While I agree that W and his cabinet have thoroughly mismanaged our security, you'd have to be smoking crack to believe that they orchestrated the attack.

Either that or you stood too close to your Chembuster...

Now you've done it, we'll have to change the chemgoo spreaders from numbers two and three to numbers one and four. This picture wasn't supposed to get out because it shows the obvious swirl signature of the super secret XXX17 ultra high pressure rotator nozzle. The chemgoo masters choose to install the XXX17 only in the inboard powerplants in order to hide the signature swirl characteristic. Switching to outboard power will make the trails more visible, but the benefits to those who we serve dramatically over shadow the increased risk of detection.

Ya know, there IS a persistent rumor among Surface Warfare Officers that the chemgoo broadside barrages (goo-broads for short) were so effective that after laying complete waste and rendering the small south pacific test islands completely uninhabitable, the islands were vaporized by H-bombs for safety and security reasons.

That's what I heard anyway...
