Hi everyone. I was looking at Epic Aviation's website (since I will be visiting them soon) and I noticed on their training page that they use an awful lot of computer sim time in their training packages. The following 3 links show you their course offerings:
http://epicaviation.com/Flight%20training/basic-flight-training.htm
http://epicaviation.com/Flight%20training/advanced-flight-training.htm
http://epicaviation.com/Flight%20training/flight-instructor-course.htm
I was curious if it was this way at other flight schools. I think that this program is part 141. Is having a large chunk of your early training (PPL, COMM) done in an FTD a good substitute for real-life flying? How do other part 141 schools do it?
