Obviously wrong.
It may be small consolation, but your friend may be lucky in that he discovered the employers true colors before said employers lack of loyalty really bit him. These kind of operators are the kind that want you to fly broke airplanes, bust mins, etc. Had I know just how ChickenSheet one of my employers was in advance, I could have saved years of consternation. Sorry about the french, but the guy WAS a ChickenSheet!!!!!!!
