Anyone know a place to park for cheap or free, decently secure, at or near PDX? I have been using Air Park and it is about $6.50 a day for a crew discount, but that ads up after two weeks on the road.

The employee lot seems to have about fifty thousand empty spaces, all the time, but you have to have a PDX badge to park there and I don't have one.

The hotels near the airport I have called so far (La Quinta, etc.) have a "package" that costs more than $100, and that is usually only for up to about ten days. It costs extra each day after that.

This sucks! I have friends who park at LAX for $15 a month! Why can't Portland have something like that?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Call the security badging office or the main airport information number and ask about employee parking. $40 per month billed 3 months at a time. Doesn't matter if your airline has a base there or not.

Thanks for the info Brian... I thought we had to have a base here. I'll give them a call on Monday.
