Can't help you with the hotel, but http://www.kcmrestaurants.com/ is a great BBQ joint!!!

I think you can get into the airport HoJo (Howard Johnson) for around $40 a nite. There is a real good BBQ joint right next to the airport Marriot which is just across I-70 from the airport. You can actually walk there in about 5-7 minutes from terminal C.

There is a really good BBQ place inside Lambert Airport, upstairs. If you stay at the HoJo they will take you to the airport in their shuttle bus, they go back and forth every hour in the mornings and if you call from your room and tell them what time you want to go, it's good anytime.
