Republic Airways holdings is a PUBLIC company. Public companies cannot sell off susidiaries on a whim just because they want money. They must first convince the shareholders, then it would most likely go to a shareholder and/or executive board vote. There has not been any info from the company itself yet. On a side note, I doubt Bedford would sell off 80% of his revenue because his stock would be worse than FLYI's in a matter of hours. I know alot of you would like to see this deal go through, but come on, use some common sense.....
