LOL... tax bracket isn't that high on 1500 a month... more like 80-85%. At any rate, if CHQ does end up getting stuff from MidAtlantic, I hope a J4J or something is established.

Are you kidding me? What a pain in the a$$ that program has been. I would suggest that the pilots are offered a job or preffered interviewing, but put them at the bottom of the senority roster just like any normal regional would do. Besides, they do not have to honor anything since they are not ALPA.

I thought that is what J4J does, puts them at the bottom of the list but makes them Captains?

Initially that was the plan. Now they are recieving slotted bidding in return PSA flys the 70 seaters. PSA's MEC took it upon themselves to emergency vote in the slotted bidding which enables the former mainline pilots to hold 50% of the captain slots and #2,4,6, etc. lines. I am saying that CHAT. should allow a program to put all former mailine pilots at date of hire seniority, i.e. bottom of the list. There are former mailine pilots at PSA as captains (under the j4j program)who were at USAir less time (under 3 years) than some of the PSA FO's who are currently waiting to upgrade(over 4 years). It has just been more of a hassle than it is worth at PSA.

Does anyone know how many members can actually be put on the Board of Directors? I thought the total was eight but I very well could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

Just think, 3 BOD from Air Wisconsin, Republic, and Mesa trying to determine who gets what and what is fair to all. That would be a fun meeting to attend. I think I might put in 125 million just to watch the fun. Anybody want to join me?
