No, he just means Bedford will make the effort again

Bedford will probably mention the possibility in his next sermon in an effort to get us to give up our vacations again, but I doubt Continental would go through all the effort to start up the CHQ flying just to dump them that quickly.

Is it true Bebford talks about Jesus in his company e-mails?

Bedford is playing the pilots and their union the way Eric Clapton plays a guitar.

I highly doubt CHQ is going anywhere. The CAL management, like said before would never admit they made a mistake. Those guys hate Jim Ream to much to beg him to order 44 more XR's, because they didn't do their do diligence.

CHQ numbers are actually better for May out IAH. Only 3 cancellation, 2 due to MX and 1 due to staffing. Before you know it, mgmt at CAL will be mentally masterbating their shareholders on the great decsion they have made as CAL paves the way into the future of commercial aviation. Wonder how much longer the CAL's pension will be in place since they have sold everything they own to fund it. They now needing high revenue to pay for all of the new 737's and 787's. Since contract talks with the pilots are coming up, it is perfect timing to have all revenue going out the door to growth. Bean counters at work.

Sounds like you actually *want* CAL pilots to capitulate on scope (the only damn thing they have other than the pension) and allow more than 50 seats to be outsourced...is that right?

don't bet on it. Ask your friendly ASA person about DFW, SLC, CVG and LAX...
