Jet Dreamer's not just dogging you about spelling. If you can't spell Chautauqua properly you wont get the job.

Let's see....

Job Requirements:

Experience : No
Spelling : Yes

Sounds like Chautauqua alright.

Wow, ya'll are something. With 17 hours of multi it doesn't do me any good to even look. I'm merely posting for a friend, and as I'm doing this in a pinch spelling isn't a priority.

My question becomes, are you people really that bored to critique the spelling ound on a message board?????

No.....we were just trying to help out because if you can't spell Chautauqua you aren't going to get the job regardless of your experience. That's how it works there...it's a deal breaker.

Who the hell came up with Chautaqua anyway? Why didn't they call it 'Northern Express' or something normal like that?

Ironically enough, when I sent them my resume the first time around, I placed a "g" instead of a "q" in the name. They still called me. Once the interview was scheduled and I was doing some more research on the internet, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't find anything about "Chautaugua Airlines" until I realized my mistake. I quickly changed my resume and all that other stuff before the interview. I guess the folks in HR missed my mistake too.

CapnVegetto,

The Company was started in Jamestown NY, on the shores of Lake Chautauqua in beautiful western New York back in 1974, hence the name. They were a relatively tiny player in this industry until only a few years ago. Corporate shell games at USAirways moved them to Indianapolis, the fates smiled on them, and now the company is what it is....

Beautiful if you like snow.

Yes, as everyone knows it snows 12 months per year in New York and the snow never melts.
