Hi all,

I'll be in Fort Launderdale area in few days, so I was gonna ask you guys in the know, if you can list names of charter/cargo/air amb. operators @ FXE, FLL, MIA.
I was thinking of dropping a few resumes off. 1400TT, 250ME, 150Jet.

Thanks very much.

FXE and Opa Locka are a gold mine for charter ops/cargo and air amb. All you really ahve to do is show up at teh airport and ask a local where they are located on the airport.Just off the top of my head at FXE
Execstar(cargo)
Hop-a-jet(charter)
Presidential(charter)
Florida Jet(charter)
A-OK jets(charter)

Not too familiar with OPA ops
Also try Universal Jet at Boca Raton

It's not what you know but who you know. That is unless you are of the latin minority (or majority in the case of South Florida) and will work for nothing. At 1400 hours, I would suggest that you check with Execstar at FXE. I understand that they are interviewing. Be prepared to sign a year contract (mistake) and pay for training. You should have good luck in your job search. Plenty of bottomfeeders here looking for someone like you.

Aeronautic nailed it. However I wouldn't suggest Execstar to my worst enemy. Try Bimini Island Air. Great place to work. Lots of flying.
Stay away from the A-OK pay for training raquet.
Soflo is a great place to pay your dues.
Dude.

Dude is right

BIA is an okay place to work... just hard to get on with.

Execstar has a HIGH turn-over rate with pilots. And their equipment SUCKS!!! Company treats their pilots like dogs.

Try some ofthe freight and check companies. You can find them on 135jobs.com.

Good luck!!

a ok jet PFT raquet

"Stay away from the A-OK pay for training raquet. "
Can you tell more about it?
