Anyone heard of Air Logic Solutions? They are hiring and just wondering if anyone knows about them. Also, from other posts, I noticed there are not many charter or corporate pilot jobs based in the TPA area. Any decent companies for even below average pay??? Just want to continue flying and am getting kicked out of the unpredictable/unreliable/unprofitable "flyI" world. Am very jaded by my current situation and want to continue flying, but not with another flakey airline.

Try DeBartolo in TPA. They have a Falcon and will be getting another relatively soon. Jr. is a good guy, former owner of the 49ers. Shoot him your resume via email. PM me and I will tell you what to put in the subject line.

Could it be " I know who you are, and I saw what you did " ? Bet that would get you an "Interview"......in the backseat of a black limo.

Was that directed at me? If it was then my response would be>
Have you tried the new ice cream line Jr. started?:D

sorry couldn't resist

350,
No,wasn't directed at anyone. Just me.... looking for votes in the upcoming wisea$$ of the month elections.

gotcha, didn't know cause if you know Jr. the halo has slowly faded when he lost the 9ers in the whole gaming situation where he was forced to go south. Oh well, that will be for another day. The old man is probably rolling over in his grave seeing Dr. York trying to make money and not wanting to spend any.

until then, fire York .

Hey Heywood,
There's a very fine line between smarta$$ and dumba$$. With useless comments such as yours, it seems the latter would be the more appropriate category to try for!!!
Thanks 350driver for the info. Just looking for a decent wage, flying good equipment, based in sunny FLA! Don't care about contracts, days off, seniority, and definitely don't want to see reserve days, probation periods, or furloughs again!!!

Violet,

Now who is really the dumb@ss ? My screen name is slowto250. Not Heywood Jablomey. That is a question. See the difference ? Still having trouble ? Ok then, say it 3 or 4 times real fast. When you have an answer to the question, feel free to respond.

I worked for Air Logic Solutions for 2 years. They are a really class act. Maintained airplanes, decent pay for this area, good growth oportunities, and a good bunch of people.

Ownership is well funded, and they have bigger things coming on the horizon.

To answer the unasked question as to why I left: I couldn't upgrade to captain with them because I didn't meet Wyvern/ARG US requirements. They are a major provider to Flight Options and Netjets as supplemental lift, and I wouldn't have been able to crew any of those flights. I left to get turbine PIC time, and plan to return there some day when I can be qualified to act as captain.

I can't recommend them enough...

King air rick? any ties to clearwater air park Rick G? What about Jeff G? at als? did you like als that much, makes me want to come home...Banners to Southern Air, Flight options now Gemini, when will flying be fun again?

Jeff is a good friend. If Rick G is a brit, I know him also. I'm from SRQ, transplant to TPA, but I know lots of airpark people through my old FO Fiona.
I liked ALS. I have worked for a few 135 and 91 ops, and they really are better. They are very serious about safety and legality. I never had any concerns about getting hurt or violated working there. But, 135 is 135...not for everyone.

Als

ALS is looking for 12 pilots, sounds like they've acquired some new planes. Appreciate the good info from all!

Air Logic operates out of Tampa for most customer pick-ups and keeps their jets in Lakeland. The pay sounds good at first, but you only get 2/3 of your quoted pay on the days you don't fly. The salary quoted is based on a 200 day work year. That's 4 days a week and rarely happens on a consistent basis.

Most of the pilots, mechs and office people are very nice. The Fleet now consists of 3 Beechjets - 2 are not very modern and not RVSM'd. The other is a 3 tube EFIS with a lot of hours on it. They have one 604 that's very nice. There are 2 King Airs - a 90 and 200. There is one Falcon 20 coming out of refurb. There are 2 Hawker 800's. A GIII soon and/or maybe a GIV? The only jet ALS owns is the 604.

Just curious as to the 1st and 2nd year FO pay at Air Logic, can anyone PM me with more detailed info, QOL, 401k, benefits, per diem, working conditions, benefits, possible upgrade times?? Thanks for all the info in advance!
