For those of you who are based in CLT or commute, how is the employee parking situation handled down there? Where do you park and how much is it per month? Do you have to get a CLT badge to take advantage of the employee lot? Thanks for any replies.....

Employee Parking isn't available unless your airline is at the airport and has a crew base (or you can find a USAir friend to "loan" you thier pass).

If that applies to you, then the only option is Public Parking. It's not bad...$2.75 a day in the Sat 1 and 2 Lots. Some days if you get in really late (past midnight), the parking attendants go home and you get out free.

from what i've heard *cough cough* the ee parking lot at CLT has it's gates broken all the time and parking there is rather easy *cough cough*.

A year or so ago "I heard" there were some guys who were parking at Signature and taking the shuttle to the terminal. An option until they nip it in the bud. Kingaira90

Remote is also $2.75/day, and just a bit closer. These parking lots in CLT are a lot harder to navigate in an F-150 than the employee lots in CVG!

The gates at the remote parking lot are left "up" between about midnight and 6 a.m. making parking free if you get in that late.
