Well Med, it's way better than eva. At O8, if you are not type rated, you have to pay for your rating. But not at Cathay.
C ya at the avi8ter.
There are also blue and yellow cups, these are intended for the relief pilot (blue) and SO (yellow). What started as a good idea, evolved into a sense of entitlement for some pricks that have nothing else in life except being a Cathay COMMANDER!!!
Mayday.
You've just offended some of the relief guys mate. They get the YELLOW cup and the poor peon S/O get the 'baby blue'.
Enjoy your "white coffee".
Doesn't apply to North Americans.
I'll fess up to not knowing what PPRUNE is. Can someone explain and maybe link it. God forgive me.
Thanks
Time for a career change already mofo?Airlinepilotpay.com says that CX pays per diem in local currency upon check-in, what is the amount in US dollars?
The retirement fund can be taken in 15.5% in extra pay (correct me if Im wrong here), if one is to chose this option, does CX provide some sort of 401K sponsorship (not 401k matching, just pre-tax deposits) for tax shelter? Or do most guys just roll the after tax into a ROTH IRA and the rest in a bunch of other stuff? Thanks
