I think you ought to keep your comments to yourself, until you have all the facts to make an educated and professional comments.Going2Baja said:They stole NWA's charter - Dick$

Skaz said:ditto, why do they want a FE written if youre hired as FO? no way I'm flying sideways and wasting two years of time I could have been getting jet time
Skaz said:Well, just got back from two interviews with other companies and found the application packet from Champion waiting for me....and I dont have a FE written....

Your comment reflects the type of person you are!

You need to educate yourself before you go around and tell half-truthes. If you are referring to the "track charters" with MLT, Funjet, Adventure Tours and ETC, these flights were previously done by outside companies such as ATA, Ryan Air and Sun Country. Now, most of this flying is done by Champion Air, which in return brings revenue into your parent company, rather then into another company with no association with NWA.You try having the flying you were doing that was making more money than any other part of the company including the 747-400's go somewhere else and not be bitter!! Our charter fleet was in demand and making huge $$$$
I understand, you are a selfish person who is the perfect type to be in management, one who doesn't think reasonable when you are "all kinds" of pissed off and only thinks of yourself. A perfect reason why UNIONS fail!As for the kind of person I am -
Read above about why this has happened.I'm the kind of person that gets pissed when horrible management gives (moves) flying from a profitable department to another company it owns.
Again, the reason why the unity of UNION s fail. I understand that "I" is in the middle of unIty and unIon, yet it has no place in the workings of the organization!!One would think the scope would have protected the NWA pilots on this.
Ha...once again, you shine....I'm also the kind of person that responds to lame replies directed at me.

Going2Baja said:Say what you will Pig, but after doing a little reading about you I can see what YOU are all about. 10 yrs at GL - what's up with that?
You arent very educated in your guess and your guess is totally incorrect. My guess is that you're probably an F/E at Champ and super stoked to be there.
See the above response.Let me guess - maybe even an IOE guy?
Once again you are wrong in your assumption. Not that I need to defend myself.Probably some skeletons in your past
How is Champion Air a "Grade B" carriers? We are not a scheduled carrier.- maybe a little bitter to only fly for B grade carriers?
Whatever guy - enjoy.
Oh really now, just hope your identity isnt found out after insulting many Professional Pilot at Champion Air.But I will stand by my post of Champ guys being close to scabs -
Identify that flying CCP has taken from NWA that has cause furloughs.your pilots didn't steal the flying, but there are furloughed NWA guys on the street because Champ is now flying what was NWA flying.
Oh, do say...they belong with you...they whine with you after the engines shutdown. Also - there are plenty of Champs guys at NWA that speak and feel the same way I do.
Bottom line – enjoy what you do – move up your ladder and be happy.
Good luck!

Going2Baja said:Dude - Yes I was at Mainline for a few years prior to 9/11. I was on the 727 and mostly did the charter trips. Great pay and sked as far as I was concerned. I live in SoCal and may trips started and ended in LAX.
I will be the first to say that I'm not in Mngt or am I privy to the things that Mngt knows but my understanding is that Anderson said he didn't want to be in the charter biz and therefore dumped the 727's. From what I READ from my fleet Mngr, our fleet (charter sided) was making more $$ than the 747 feet in its entirety.
So Anderson dumped the Charter flying and Champ picked it up. I do recall that one flight the Champ flew that WAS considered struck work and there were grievances filed and awarded. This practice stopped immediately.
As I stated in the above post - I agree it's not the Champ pilots that caused any problems, but they did end up flying NWA mainline's flying.
And for the record - if the charter flying was available to be taken back, I don't think there would be a NWA pilot that would reject it.
