What is the status of Champion Air? Two of the aircraft have been returned to the lessor and word is they will be down to 3 by the fall.

all sad but true.

They lost the NBA contract and MLT is up in the air. What base will be left? Dallas (where the snr pilots are)

when the music stops, msp (where it all started),will be left ,with 3 beautiful 727s,about 30 pilots (down from 150 at its peak), and a lot of good memories from those of us who moved on. flying that good ship was a dream come true.

And now the quiet whisper of the PW545A/B with glass that works better then steam. Not to mentioned a huge leap in QOL, Bennies...etc...etc...etc. Welcome Aboard.

well said brother,God's grace I landed in a wonderful place,I hope the same for all the boys and girls at Champs.

ALPA has been holding job fairs to get the guys jobs, before the ship starts sinking. Dont know the latest, i left in December, but it was looking grim.

good luck to you brother
