Challenger type rating

Are the type ratings for the Challenger biz jet and the Canadair RJ the same?

If you had a type in the biz jet, could you switch to the RJ with differences training?

Nope. It's two different types. A differences course will not do it.

from what I understand the CL-600 type is good for the Challenger 600 and the Challenger 601. The CL-65 is good for the Challenger 604 and the RJ. (same avionics)
