There's always flex chump

M&N is Wyoming operates 1 in addition to a pair of Hawker XPs. The ProPilot story on the company seemed to suggest that pilots can commute.

I was going to mention M&N as well. Rumor is that they are getting rid of commuters and want everyone to reside in CPR or DEN. I have heard nothing but great things about the operation.

Half of the jet guys commute, and will continue to do so. We are not hiring right now, but might in the future, if you are interested in working here keep sending a resume.

I am still looking for employment for the CL 30. I have had some bites but still looking for that long-term job.
Any help would be great.

You and a couple other thousand pilots I'm sure :D

Yeah, thanks for your comment. But there are only about 450 pilots typed in the CL 30 so far in the world. So with over 100 planes delivered so far I am sure there are openings for qualified and current pilots like me.

Have you considered putting your name out there as a contractor? Even if you cannot contract on a very regular basis you will get phone calls, contacts and leads. Also, make friends with your local Bombardier sales rep. or tech rep. They will be able to feed you info.

I know that there is some dirtbag operation out in Centennial run by some former UAL SCAB. To work for him you get the priviledge of sharing a room. For some strange reason he is always hiring. ;)

Sorry I do not know of anything more concrete. Good luck.

Very third-hand knowledge, but I'd heard they had canned the UAL guy after the constant turnover. The pay sucked, sharing a room on the road (!) and few bennies. You pay $18 mil for a jet, $2k or so an hour in costs, and you want to save a few grand a year on the flight crew, I'll never understand that thinking.

How about some first hand info. There is no longer any room sharing. The policy was a company wide policy and changed before I got here. The pay isn't amazing, I will admit, but it is the industry/NBAA average. The first captain that was hired left for personal reasons, but still does contract work for us. The initial SIC that was hired left to go back to UAL. I'm actually very happy here. I had the same concerns that many of you expressed regarding the room sharing and QOL. To be totally honest after being in the corporate aviation industry for several years now am very happy. True, it is a low thrills department, but it is well managed, the passengers are easy to please, there is a schedule, and the pay is average. All in all I have seen and worked for some operators that I would never consider going back to, but I hope that these guys stick around for a while. We are still looking for another PIC and I do have Bladestall's resume and we plan on interviewing in the up coming weeks. Just though that I would help clear up the rumors a bit.
