I am look for any information. I was look to see what the pay is like, do they have jumpseat priveledges, how many days off, what else you do as an FO beside fly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are they hiring?

I wouldn't mind spending the last 20+ years of my career doing that. Let the wife fly transcon for no pension! Home at night, living on the beach....

Chalks is where you go when you die if you've lead a good life as a pilot. Heaven, you have nothing on Chalks.

Heard it's EXTREMELY senior pilots. Other than that, I have no idea about them other than that they fly great airplanes to paradise. What more could you ask for?

Sounds like a fun but monotonous job to me... Would be nice to do some more hand-flying down to the Islands...

Do they fly anywhere else other than the Cruise Ship Harbor (Watson Bay?), FLL, Paradise Island and Bimini?

I think there's a company in St. Thomas that flies Twin Otters on floats with a little bit better route system. Might not get bored as quickly.

Try this

Try this operation at Seaborne.com

They fly Twin Otters on floats. I beleive it is a Part 121 operation. May have some wheel operations as well. I suspect that you would need significant previous Otter time, plus floats, or at the minimum have an FSI training certificate in your pocket. Have some friends that have worked there and they really enjoyed it, especially if you like living in island time.

Chalks

Chalks seems like a pretty cool place to be. I have been on vacation down there a few times and have seen them flying around. Apparently, they have pretty good rates for flights to and from FLL.

I know that I have seen their name on a few different airline jumpseat lists so I can only assume that they reciprocate.

Lastly, I remember reading several months ago that they had some pilots on furlough status. This may be really old information so I would check up on if I were you.

Hope that helps!!!

Doesn't say much about pay/bene's/other stuff.

I remember reading a ProPilot mag article a few years back in which the Chief Pilot (at the time) was interviewed. Sounded like the salaries were a bit on the low side (Captain pay in the upper 40s) but the flying was a pretty good time...

I would hope you could get employee discounts at the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island - that place is expensive...
