Anyone know Chalk's is still operating? Their website has been down for awhile.
 
Mallards are Grounded

Unless Chalk's has gotten their hands on something other than the Mallard to fly, they are waiting for the plane's to be recertified. Apparently Frakes, who converted the planes to turbo props and is also the certificate holder for the G-73T type, isn't coming up with a recertification program, so now another company is trying to work with the Feds to get the type certified to fly again. Until then Chalk's and every other Mallard operator (few as they are) are SOL.
