(PIC IFR requirment) Need some help on this, my FAR-AIM says "must have 1,200 hrs of of flight time as a pilot"......my FAR/Aim is a old 1996 book< I don't have my 04 book on me at this time .........is this "PIC" OR "TOTAL FLIGHT TIME"????

Total Time.
 
135.243(c)(2) Has had at least 1,200 hours of flight time as a pilot, including 500 hours of cross country flight time, 100 hours of night flight time, and 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time at least 50 hours of which were in actual flight; ...
 
Fyi

The good news is the that for part 135. They consider "Cross Country" to be any airport-to-airport flight. Since most people only log flights over 50nm, a review of your logbook may reveal that you meet this piece of the requirment pretty easily.
