Looking for CFI's that want free demo ride in loaded Cirrus SR22. Tentative date will be somewhere in the 15-19 or 22-24 of November. Need as many people as are interested. Can be at KRYY, KPDK, KFTY, or other surrounding airport. PM me or post here if interested and I'll get back with you when I have a firm date. I'm not the Cirrus demo pilot just arranging it.

Any idea of Cirrus is having anything like this in the NYC area? I am a active cfi and would love a demo ride.

heavy_d and I could play the role of students in the ATL area. . right?. . . right? :D

I'd be extremely interested. I do some part-time instructing at PDK.

Ok....but you already sent me a pm. Don't confuse me. :) Right now they aren't a lot of folks interested but if it becomes a lot a pm and a post here will make it a mess. I don't wanna have to work at it. ;)

The qualifier has been changed to "Pilots who are interested in the Cirrus SR22" PM me if you want to go. Tenative date is Tuesday the 30th @ 9 a.m. at KRYY.

Hey rumpletumbler, is D.W. the guy who's going to do the Cirrus demo flights? Just curious.

I took a demo flight in a SR-22 GTS yesterday. Nice plane. I haven't convinced myself that it is worth $432,000.

First time I was in an SR-22 in low actual with those two giant screens telling me my flight attitude and my precise location it seemed easily work 432K. :)

I've got about 12 hours in a SR-22, and while it is indeed a very nice airplane, I personally can't imagine spending that much money on one.

A nice Bonanza A-36 a few years old would be less money and more airplane. ;)

Hey....its on. This guy will take as many as show up. He can be there all day. If anyone wants to come pm me. Except the five I've already been talking with, you don't need to do this. You don't have to be a CFI but potential owners are welcome as well. Most likely if you just are interested your fine. :)

Having flown one for about 35 hours, I think it's a great GA ride. Makes GA cross-country flying very comfortable. Easy IFR airplane too. Paying 400k+ isn't much for customers worth millions.
