Was curious...How old were you when you became a CFI?
I am 23 now Hope to be a CFI mind 24s. Curious to see if I am going to be old or young in the field.

Got my CFI when I was 29, Now I'm 33.
Don't give up, things are improving.

I would have been a Flight Instructor today at age 33 but I had to discontinue my checkride due to high winds, I did get through the oral though. I have the flight portion of the checkride scheduled for Next monday March, 15 but my birthday is March 10. I had the goal of being an Instructor by age 33 but I will miss that goal by 5 days.

I got my CFI in 1959 here in Canada.

However in those days we didn't have to give the inspectors "Orals", they passed us based on our peformance in the airplane..

But hey, were not reluctant to receive "orals" especially if the girls were good looking.
