CFII Renewal

Hello All,

Have any of you done your CFI renewal at the local FSDO? Have any of you done the 10 question quiz that they sometimes will give? I did it 2 years ago, but don't remember the questions and I have not been activlly instructing.

I renewed my CFI at my local FSDO (Scottsdale) a few weeks ago. I was in and out in about 20 mins. It was a very easy process and the FAA inspector was pretty cool. Just have all your paperwork filled out and ready to go.

I've never heard of a 10 question quiz being given for CFI renewals. Has anyone else had this given to them?

CFI Renewal

I must have renewed my CFI three or four times based on activity and never took a quiz. This was ten years ago I and things changes, but I don't believe the FAA can do that if you are renewing based on activity.

Just like AZaviator, I had similar experiences renewing at the Scottsdale FSDO. Very quick and simple process, and I was treated courteously and professionally the two times I renewed there.
