Anybody know of anyone who does taxes for Pilots/CFI's in the Kansas City Area?

Brad,

If you are an employee of the flight school it is pretty much cut and dry like any other job. If you are an independant contractor then there are a few things that any tax preparer should be able to help you with.

The other thing to think about is you can make an appointment with the local IRS office and they will help you find and fill out the forms. If you're as poor as most the free advice helps. They may not try and find you all the money possible, but if you do a search there are several posts about this and give you questions to ask the IRS about and save some money for food, etc.

I haven't done any taxes in 8 years, and I will not "do" your taxes but if you want some opinions send me a PM & I'll give you some things to look at.

Geigo
