I'm a fresh CFI not even a week old. I am starting to prepare my resume to start sending out. Was wondering if I could view someones CFI resume just to get an idea on how to set it up. I took a class like 5 years ago about resume writing and don't remember anything. Any one interested in helping me out? Feel free to PM or post here. Thanks in advance.

My resume will not help you much but I was sending out my old resume and getting no interest from anyone. I then had Lori Clark rewrite it and got a lot of response. Check out her website. I did not get anything but the resume writing, but she offers alot of other services. Well worth the money...which was not a lot as I recall. www.flytheline.com

Keep it to one page if you can. Definitely NOT more than two.

I can not think of any reason why a CFI or pretty much anyone for that matter would need more than one page.

And I second the idea of getting more than one person to proof-read your resume. I was absolutely amazed how many small errors I made when I put my first resume together, but now its so clean that I am scared to change anything on it. I have a tendency to have poor grammar and spelling. For that I blame the publik skool sistim.

-I had to edit this post, and I'm sure there is still a mistake somewhere in it! Where are the flight info grammar police at?
