give them a look and form your own ideas for a resume

Hopefully you've found what you're looking for. Depending on the flight school, though, I think you'll find that people respond much, much better to a personal visit. It may be worth a road trip if you really want a specific CFI job. I can recall working at a few flight schools where cold-mailed resumes were summarily tossed out with little or no review. If you're just shopping around, a resume works fine, but if you really want the job, consider taking a trip. Good luck.
