I finished the online course today 6-29. My CFI expires tomorrow 6-30. When I purchased the program I paid for the online paperwork service (ACR). I was told over the phone that all I needed only to do was finish the course by tomorrow and that I would be OK. He said the paperwork would take a few weeks to process but otherwise no problem. Now that I'm finished nowhere on the certificate or instructions does it indicate this to be so. Does anybody know what should happen next? Or do I need to find a FSDO open on Saturday which I'm sure is not going to happen. Do I need to fax something? Anybody know?

Thanks

Dont worry, I use to work there, as long as the course was done before you expire you are fine.

I just renewed mine through American Flyers as well. Within a few days of sending in your paperwork, you'll get a temporary certificate in the mail. Your permenant one will come later.

The paperwork needs to arrive at the AF office before the expiration date. If it can't arrive by the expiration date, you'll need to find a POI to renew it. You will be okay since you finished the program before the expiration date, but I don't think the ACR program will do you any good. It will have to be done through the FSDO.
