CFI renewal?

I got my ATP April 2008, my CFI has an issuance of October of 2008. Doesn't it expire on October of 2010?

From what I read from his posts so far he would have to ask someone else how to hit a nail and ask where the head is.

Expires the end of October 2010. ATP has nothing to do with the CFI.

Why on earth would passing any kind of additional skill test reduce the validity of the CFI?

You need to read his double post in the Training section. Maybe English isn't his first language. His post was:

"Got a ATP certificate back in April of 2008. (CFI was current then) Since I took a practical does my CFI renew because of that? It says on my CFI that it expires in November 2010? Is this true? It would be 24 months from the date of ATP.
