CFI job waiting for me!

I was crawling out of the cockpit and got a call today from my God father in Houston who's retired from Continental. He's been looking to see what's available in the area CFI wise because I want to move back to Texas to CFI. I've been told that I've got a CFI job waiting for me in august. I'm one happy camper right now! This news really made my day, studying all week for finals I needed a booster.

I got one waiting in May for me too. I'm thanking my lucky stars I decided to work at that FBO before college. One guy that used to work there is a chief pilot for a frieght company too, so hopefully that can go somewhere!

What you know helps, but who you know helps better. Always make contacts with others and never burn any bridges. Aviation is a very small community and every thing you do CAN and WILL get around to your employer. Not all the time of course but i've been in this industry for three years now and have seen it for myself.
