Dude just know everything literally.

You are there to show you can teach. Be able to talk through each step of everything. In your lesson plan decide what exactly you want the student to be able to accomplish before they can go on to the next lesson.

Have teaching points - i.e. Mid field downwind at xxxx feet agl, flap setting, power setting, airspeed - the start descent to xx agl etc. give the student a value to go for. Do this for each maneuver. Put it in your lesson plan.

A good Lesson plan will take you 4 to 8 hours of development for each hour of lesson. The good thing is once you write the plan you have it to use over and over again with some editing when you find more info to put in.

Remember it's an open book oral exam. Make sure you know your way around your lesson plans, and be able to talk about each topic in the PTS. Don't forget the points of emphasis in the front of the book.

Yikes!

If your looking for a gouge at that level you dont deserve the ticket.

I didn't even know what a gouge was till my 727 FE panel oral.

Scary....
