Hey Ta, the CFI who was arrested, did he seem like the type to go around robbing his employer? Just wondering what kind of character this fellow is. At this point, it seems any career aspirations have been flushed down the toilet for him.

I didn't know him personally, just rubbed elbows a few times.. I was getting trained in the SR so I was there for a couple of weeks..

Wow small world. I flew with that guy at Ari Ben doing that multi time building program about 2 years ago. Flew about 80 hrs. What an idiot

There is no pilot named "Deconta" on the FAA pilot registry...

It's possible that the reporter spelled his name wrong. Or that the guy was working under a forged certifiate.
