Does it seem reasonable that a Cessna 172 flies at about 182 feet per second? I'm trying to do some nav calculations and I'm not sure they're right.

Thanks all.

(110 mi/hr) (1/3600 hr/sec) (5280 feet/mi) = 161.3 feet/sec

just curious.... who does Nav calculations in Ft/sec ? :D

You know.. you don't have to be *that* exact on your checkride :)
