I'm currently waiting to hear about a job flying a corporate 414 in MI. Single-pilot, pt 91, about 350 hours per year. Not sure about on-call. Any ideas what appropriate compensation might be? Thanks in advance.

I was getting 45/year + 50/day perdiem when away from home and basic bennies for a 421 gig flying about 3-400 hours a year, mostly in the Southeastern US and to the Bahamas etc. Trips were usually scheduled atleast a week before, so I was able to have a life and not be stuck with a phone 24/7... great owners, makes the job that much better.

Are you going to be on salary or contract?

I used to fly one on contract: $200 up to 4 hours, $350 to 8 hours, above 8 hours, it was $550 a day (food and hotel expenses paid, of course)

I was on call anytime, but wasn't flying everyday, I had some good months though.
