Does anyone happen to know what the operating costs are for a Cessna 340? Any comments on the 340 would also be appreciated.

at texas air our 401's were about 500 per hour. But that was inhouse maintenance and economy of scale pricing on insurance and fuel.
I would say at least 750 per hour.

340 Operating costs

$750 and hour is pretty high. It may be about half of that. The 340 burns about 35 gph. So you would have about 100hr in fuel and maybe 150hr for mx. Insurance depends on alot, ie pilot qualifications, $ per seat insurance and so on. Find somone at a local airport that operates a 340 and ask them. I'm sure they would be more then happy to help. Good Luck!
