The cable news footage being shown on Sunday afternoon, if accurate, puts the Cessna angle to bed.

The aircraft shown has a T-tail, and a low wing composite type design. It bears a resemblance to this Katana:

It's a Dimona motorglider, made by Diamond Aircraft who makes the Katana.

Wow. Good thing he didn't fly into a building. He might have broken a window!

problem solved...

when he got close to the building just have a window washer smush him with a fly swatter....

Apparently they had a Police helicopter and a pair of Tornados following this guy around. Tornados! I have this picture in my head of an AMRAAM punching right through the the Dimona and killing fifty people on the ground!

On the other hand, if the guy had hit the building, I don't think anybody would have noticed...

LOL!

Pilot: "Sir, I can't get a target lock, the RADAR isn't picking anything up!"
Control: "Is it some kind of new stealth aircraft?"
Pilot: "I don't think so, it appears to be a powered kite!"
Control: "Well, can you shoot it down or not?"
Pilot: "Shoot it down? Heck, I can just fly past it really quick my wake will knock it out of the air!"

Sure they would have, the plane would still be missing!

News Reporter: "After days of searching, the airplane stolen out of the local airport has still not been located"

:D
