I don't care what it burns, flying a buck-fitty on that route is.........well...... insane! They're gonna spend more on you getting it down there than it's worth.
Ain't no buck-fitty made that can clear the andes.
If the oil burn would have been in what I call the normal end for the buck fifty say 1 qt every 10 to 15 hours I would be in Colombia by today. If you do your planning right you can get a buck fifty there.
I kinda hope the owner puts a top on the bird so I can get it there.
My next run is a PA28-181 to South Africa.
