I have recently started a new project in honor of the century of flight. Heres a little peek at it.

I am attempting to archive some of the various news articles on the advancement of flight. These two are the earliest that I can find.

This one is the first mention of the Wright Brothers flight, it was printed on the Front page of the New York Times, on Dec 26th, 1903. It doesn't mention them by name, in fact it doesn't contain much at all.

This article was from Section 3, Page 2, of the Sunday Jan 7th, 1906 New York Times. It was the first time that the Wright Brothers were mentioned by name, in the New York Times, this article is much more in-depth.

Sorry about the quality, I did the best I could in digitizing them, the 1906 one of from 3 separate scans, Photoshoped together. Both files are Printable quality Adobe Acrobat files.
