I have a good friend that is looking to move back to KC. He has been working on turbines for a while. The only company I can think of in KC is Central Air Southwest. Does anyone know if they need A&P's or know of any other KC area operators in need of a A&P?

I do not know if Central Air is currently looking for mechanics. Executive Beechcraft might be looking. Avoid AIM which is an A&P mechanic school in Kansas City. The school is always hiring. Most of the students have more "senority" than the instructors. I feel sorry for the good students there. However, about half of them are right out of the hood. Also near Kansas City is White Industries (the salvage yard). Do not go there either as the turn over is very high there as well. The owner is a very dishonest, put you down, micromanager of his employees. People leave or get fired there on a regular basis as well, so he is always hiring.
